I stumbled across this conversation about us on an audio discussion group. Some background is in order. Once upon a time, Rick inadvertently left a "Jesus is Lord" tagline in a post to the FMTuners discussion group. This doug s character "exploded" out of nowhere with a vehement and filthy remark. There was considerable turmoil on the group for a day or so and I responded about it.
I should thank this guy because a couple years later, somebody who observed the affair, purchased a virtually mint condition Pioneer SD-1100 4CH Scope Display and had it shipped to me as a gift. The unit was worth $600 - $800. He said the reason for the gift had to do with the assault by doug s, the group's response and my response to it. Thanks doug.
Another interesting note. Shortly before he made this public post (below) about us and contrary to his statement, he did indeed write and ask to purchase a service manual from us. Apparently he couldn't find it from any of the "non-religious freaks" manuals vendors. I was a few days late replying to it, but when I did, I apologized for the delay and said it had nothing to do with his unrighteous attack on me in the FMTuner group. I never heard from him again. Draw your own conclusions.

Personally, I do not see how http://stereomanuals.com/ could be described as religious freaks. There is a small link at the bottom of his page.
I would tend to say that if his page read "Jesus Presents Stereo Manuals", he would be over the top.
My 2¢

I totally agree.
Or "Buy manuals from God-fearing folk like us, or you will be damned to pre-recorded cassettes of Jewel on a pink Fisher Price tape player for eternity!"
That would be just a tad out of line as well.
And who cares about "domination"? What they do behind closed doors is their business! :naughty: Now, their denomination might have something to do with it.
123 replier 10-06-2005, 05:17 PM I've bot a handful of manuals from Rick at stereo manuals and got really nice manuals. The religious stuff, while not my bag, is sorta neatly tucked away and doesn't really interfere with anything, imo. (not relative portion snipped)
