| 9-8-2006 Hi everybody,
I have been thinking about making this "We Get Letters" space on our Truth Seekers pages for quite some time. Problem was... no time, for a long time. Well now the time has come to make time. So with this introduction, we hope that what you find here touches your life in some good way. Since originally putting this "And Now... For Something Completely Different", semi-hidden, Truth Seekers section on our site, we have received a good number of comments and letters from folks who have visited these pages. Most are usually something like a quick thanks or an acknowledgement of similar sensibilities. We always appreciate receiving those remarks for several reasons. - It lets us know our time in creating it wasn't wasted.
- People really do see at least some of the pages.
- There are some/many who appreciate it (and some that don't).
- It is right to follow the lead of your Sspirit (even on a business site)
- And perhaps best of all...
...in this era of increasing disconnectedness, it is a good thing to receive even small affirmations from others of a like-mindedness regarding issues of faith and an acknowledgement of God. It's a small moment in time wherein the issues of this world are laid aside. A moment in time where a couple of God's children acknowledge before the Lord that there is a family of believers in this world and that brothers and sisters recognize one another.
We wouldn't want to give the impression that all comments have been positive. While most are, there have been a few who (bless their little pea-pickin' hearts) have felt compelled to write with attacks, a few with curses. I recall one who challenged me with a "how dare I mix business and religion? and how idiotically stupid I was. Oh well...
So as of this writing, we're starting with just a couple of letters. When time allows, I will install a desktop search type program and do some searches on our gigabytes of archived email. Then I will add more content to this letters section with examples of both positive and negative stuff. We can all learn from both.
