THE RACK is a double-sided cabinet style rack with a plastic laminate counter that attaches across the front. It was designed to display Pioneer’s silver-faced (SPEC style gear), including SPEC-1 Preamp, SPEC-2 or SPEC-4 Power Amplifier, plus various Tuners, Cassette Decks, Reel-to-reel decks, Graphic Equalizers, Dynamic Processors and Reverb units. One version included a cutout for recessed turntable mounting in the countertop, the other did not include the recess. The space below the countertop has doors for storage.
