| Manuals Price Codes Chart "BC" = Brochures - Full Color Reproductions | |||||
| Best efforts Full Color Reproductions printed off premises on very High Quality color printing equipment. Many (not all) Full Color Brochures may (depending on design of original) be extraordinarily good looking. They are almost always better than scans printed on laser or inkjet printers and often extremely better. Some items may be one or two colors only, but would be significantly impaired if not printed on color equipment. For a variety of reasons, your brochure may be printed on 90lb card stock or a more normal weight paper. | |||||

| * Items shipped flat (not folded for small envelope) in almost all cases. In order to drastically simplify shipping calculations, we have developed these Shipping Rates charts. They are a rounded off combination of many factors. The precise mailing cost stamped on your package may be more or less than you paid. Further info here. | |||||
| * USA and CANADA SHIPPING NOTE: These notes accompany the G Price Codes, but the same basic conventions apply to the other Price Codes charts as well. See them for additional information. If you don't understand, contact us. By USPS postal regulations, 13+ oz are called Priority Mail. At this point, we automatically which to their flat-rate document mailer which substantially reduces the cost in most cases. G1 - G21 shows Default Shipping Method as regular FC (USA First Class/Canada LPA - Letter Post Air) rates before the /(slash) and PM (flat-rate Priority Mail Document mailer) for USA and LPA for Canada after the /(slash). We automatically use the default rates shown in Bold, but you may specify PM (flat-rate Priority Mail document mailer or even PM Box (flat-rate Priority Box mailer) if you want to pay the extra amount. Depending on the particular item, G1 (and possibly G2 -G3)) may be folded and mailed in an ordinary business envelope. If so, we try to mention it in the Item's Description, but in some cases may fail to do so. G21 - G32 shows Default Shipping Method as PM (flat-rate Priority Mail Document mailer) for USA and Canada LPA - Letter Post Air). 13+ oz is automatically Priority Mail by USPS regulations. USA customers may specify PM Box (flat-rate Priority Box mailer) if you want to pay the extra amount. G33 - G35 (Too large for PM flat-rate document mailer) shows Default Shipping Method as PM Box (flat-rate Priority Box mailer) for USA before the /(slash) and Canada LPA - Letter Post Air) after the /(slash). | ** INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING NOTE (Not USA/Canada): These notes accompany the G Price Codes, but the same basic conventions apply to the other Price Codes charts as well. See them for additional information. If you don't understand, contact us. When actual LPA (Letter Post Air - Airmail) rates are near or exceed $10.00 - $11.00, we automatically switch to PMI (flat-Rate PRIORITY MAIL INTERNATIONAL). Note 1 G1 - G24 shows regular LPA (Letter Post Air - Airmail) rates before the /(slash) and PMI (flat-Rate PRIORITY MAIL INTERNATIONAL) after the /(slash). Depending on the particular item, G1 (and possibly G2)) may be folded and mailed in an ordinary business envelope. If so, we try to mention it in the Item's Description, but in some cases may fail to do so. G25 - G32 shows PMI (flat-Rate PRIORITY MAIL INTERNATIONAL) and LPA (Letter Post Air - Airmail) for countries which do not accept PMI. Note 2 G33 - G35 Approximately 300 pages is about all that will fit into a PMI (flat-rate Priority Mail International) document mailer. Shipments larger than about 300 pages require that it be mailed at regular Air Mail rates which will be higher than flat-rate PMI. Or it can be shipped as a parcel (boxed) which is substantially higher (contact us). If your "300+ pages" consists of 2 or more items, they may be able to be divided between two PMI document mailers. As an example, the G34 $20.00 LPA/13.00 PMI + 13.00 PMI is meant to indicate LPA Airmail rate before the /(slash) and 1st flat-rate Global Priority Mailer + 2nd flat-rate Global Priority Mailer after the /(slash). If you don't understand this, just contact us. Top of the page | |
*** APPROXIMATE PAGE COUNT IS PROVIDED AS A REFERENCE ONLY NOTE: These notes accompany the G Price Codes, but the same basic conventions apply to the other Price Codes charts as well. One side of a 8.5" x 11" sheet = 1 page ( whether printed on not). Both sides of an 11" x 17" sheet = 4 pages. Our purpose in providing the 'Approximate Page Count' column, is to give a general indication of how many pages are associated with that price code. We think you should have some idea if a manual is 4 or 400 pages before you buy. The vast majority of our items will be very close to the indicated number. BUT, for various reasons, any item might have somewhat more or less pages than indicated by the charts. In a few cases, the actual number of printed pages may be considerably less than indicated by the charts. In no event are we trying to pull a 'fast one' on you. If you have some reason to believe we have charged you too much for a particular item, let us know. Perhaps we made a mistake (but unlikely). FIRST EXAMPLE: Our description for a particular manual may say "88 total pages (18 intentionally blank)". The 88 means there are 88 total 8.5" x 11" pages sides (whether printed or not) AND gives us a shipping weight (which is what allowed us to develop these charts). Often, that manual will be priced using the G16 Price Code (70 +/- pages) instead of G20 (90 +/-). In cases like this, it does give you a precise count of printed pages and you are paying only for the exact number of printed pages. SECOND EXAMPLE: If something about a particular manual makes it more difficult to print or construct, we may have assigned an 'in between' price code that falls somewhere between the total number of pages and the actual number of printed pages. Using the same criteria as the first example, lets say the Price Code is G18. In that case you are paying a premium (over normal) reflecting the added complexity. If that same example manual has a price code of say... G12. That would normally indicate that manual is being priced at a discount from normal prices. The most likely reason would be that there is something about it that we consider sub-standard, or flawed, or incomplete, etc. We might apply a discounted price even if ours is a perfect reproduction of a factory provided reprint that isn't good in our opinion. Those items will normally have something in the "Description" column that indicates or plainly explains it. THIRD EXAMPLE: A center-folded, center-stapled manual is 24 total pages plus (2) single-side printed 11" x 17" schematic inserts. The inserts are 8 total pages with 4 printed pages and 4 not printed pages. Our description will probably show "32 total pages (4 intentionally blank)". The price code will normally be CF6 which shows 28 +/- pages and again, you are paying for the exact number of printed pages. Remember... APPROXIMATE PAGE COUNT IS PROVIDED AS A REFERENCE ONLY.
